IT Applications Program Manager Responsibilities Engage IT and business stakeholders to define and document complex business requirements, technical requirements and processes Lead a globally distributed, cross-functional team through agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning sessions, sprint commit sessions, and sprint retrospective sessions Prioritize and manage multiple, parallel technical projects using agile project planning techniques Assist in developing technical agile project plans and goals identify resources needed, develop schedules and methods of measuring results Organize and manage all phases of the agile development project delivery to ensure on-time completion Work closely with the Agile Architect and development and QA resources to ensure solution delivery fits the business narrative and adapts to changes as needed over the course of the agile delivery process Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of project communications Manage development projects through various lifecycle stages from business need through design and delivery, manage IT solution delivery workflow Establish and maintain business and IT stakeholder relationships and manage solution delivery communications Focus on continuous improvement of the Agile methodology as applied within the organization by championing the team's way of working across the organization and refining the approach through lessons learned and data-driven work item analysis. SkillsExpertise needed 5+ years of project management or IT management experience Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications Knowledge and experience in cross-functional agile project management methods and techniques Knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts and methods Knowledge of Business Processes Modeling and proven experience identifying and enhancing business processes through technology solutions Experience in a retail focused organization environment a plus Prior experience in leading global, cross-functional teams, including IT and business stakeholders Extensive knowledge and experience with IT and projectportfolio management best practice methodologies (AgileSCRUM, Kanban, ITIL) Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Technologies ( AzureDevOps, Office 365, SQL, .NET, Visual Studio, Azure Cloud services, MS Project,) Knowledge of Azure cloud-based services and system integration capabilities a plus Technical development background a plus Experience with AzureDevOps to manage and track work items through the development process a plus
