Job Summary This individual works in a team environment in our Timonium and Columbia, MD office and will be responsible for planning and conducting a wide range of quality control tasks, including analyzing requirements test planning and strategy developing and executing test cases evaluating and documenting test results and promoting teamwork and organizational integrity. Responsibilities Review documentation to understand testing requirements, test environments and objectives. Use standardized testing methods, tools and procedures to ensure testing is efficient, effective and comprehensive. Translate requirements into detailed test plans and test cases. Design and create test scripts to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for release. Execute manual and automated test cases and test scripts. Perform functional integration and regression testing. Work with users to support User Acceptance Testing. Advise Test ManagerProject Manager regarding overall quality of project and state of work. Communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers and management team. Required Skills 3 to 5 years of experience working as a QA Tester. Experience with SQL. Experience with SOAP UI. Experience creating test data. Experience with EDI transactions. Experience with ALM. Prior Healthcare experience. Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle overlapping assignments and effectively prioritize work. Preferred Technology SkillsExperience Understanding of 270271 transactions. Experience with JMeter. Experience and understanding of Agile development life cycle. Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology related field (preferred). Location Timonium and Columbia, MD NOTICE EOAAVEVRAADisabled Employer - Federal Contractor.
