Client Fortune 50 Financials Org. "Candidates local to DC Area should apply" Seeking a Business Analyst II to analyze business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. The Business Analyst II is responsible for leading the functional requirements gathering process from data mapping to delivery to production. The candidate works directly with internal customers to understand the business environment and needs. Identifies relevant design, process and specification issue. Job Responsibilities Acting as key business representative and POC for systems migration from legacy application to new engagement platform. Partner with key internal stakeholders to gather requirements concerning data mapping, financial models, reporting requirements, and timing constraints. Coordinating the business plans and forecasts for project with development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders Act as lead UAT representative for team to validate requirements translate into end product without defective code or calculations Represent department interests in meetings and report back on development of project. Partner with upstream and downstream applications to ensure that transition does not negatively impact existing processes and that new requirements are implemented successfully in conjunction with delivering and consuming teams Maintaining and operating a risk adverse culture and mindset as our process is developed Ensure proper controls and maintenance of infrastructure is applied at origin of new solutioning and consumption, Providing expertise in proposals for solutions using new best practices as implemented for legacy interfaces and applications Skills Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently and manage one s time. Experience with SDLC application management and application delivery process. Knowledge of accounting and modeling norms in order to partner with internal stakeholders. Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae s business model and the secondary mortgage market EducationExperience Bachelor's degree in a business field such as Finance, Economics engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. 2-4 years experience required.
