Our client in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Contract Recruiter for a 6 month role. This is on-site in their VA office. Core business hours are 10-3pm. After a 90 day probation period, there is an opportunity to work remotely 2 days a week. Project Overview Our client's Human Resources organization is looking for a Contract Corporate Recruiter to join our amazing team! This position is responsible for attracting, identifying and sourcing qualified exempt, non-exempt, technical and management employees for both Iridium and our affiliate company Aireon. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned staffing professional with general experience in human resources, staffing and recruitment functions. Duties and Responsibilities bull Thoughtfully source, recruit, interview, schedule and select highly qualified candidates bull Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate sourcing build networks to identify qualified passive candidates, create industry contacts bull Administer applicant assessment instruments bull Complete reference checks bull Update applicant tracking and EEO data bull Prepare and extend offers of employment gain necessary position and offer approvals bull Maintain applicant files, appropriate records and statistics bull Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws bull Collect and process pre- and post-employment paperwork including background and reference checks bull Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates EducationSkills and Experience Requirements bull 7+ yearsrsquo experience in full lifecycle recruitment, preferably in a high-tech corporate environment bull Bachelorrsquos degree preferred bull Experience with applicant tracking systems iCIMS a plus bull Proven background sourcing passive candidates and building internal and external relationships bull Experience with Predictive Index a plus bull General knowledge of various employment laws and practices bull Advanced computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint bull Strong interpersonal, communication and customer-oriented skills bull Ability to work in a fast paced environment with exceptional attention to detail bull Strong organizational and time management skills ability to order competing priorities is critical bull Ability to travel as needed Send your resume to Mary.Davisrockhammerts.com
