Principal RF Electrical Engineer Apply Requisition ID 141144BR Date updated 05/29/2019 Job Description: Raytheon Company Space and Airborne Systems business unit is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Electrical Engineer to work on Electronic Warfare (EW) and electronics product development for defense applications. The candidate will be responsible for design development of Electronic Warfare & Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) products & Electronic Warfare subsystems derived from system level requirements, developing associated architectures, performing electrical design and electrical design analysis, implementing design solutions, performing simulations, and performing analysis and testing of associated hardware in a laboratory or chamber setting. He/she will generate subsystem requirements documents and specifications. He/she will become familiar with the latest technology trends in the area of Electronic Warfare systems. The candidate will work in the product development and test team environment with system, mechanical, and electrical engineers. This position can be located in Fullerton or Goleta CA. Required Skills: * Minimum 8 years of experience in Electronic Warfare and/or RWR (or comparable hardware) design and testing, or 6 years with a related Master's degree * Experience with block diagrams, parts lists and design review packages for complex electronics * Hands-on experience in testing of electronic products using high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, waveform generators, and debugging tools * Minimum 4 years of experience with design tools such as ADS, Genesys, HFSS, FEKO and matlab * Possess skills to handle fast pace and dynamic product development environment * Experience leading a team of peers through the product development cycle managing both schedule and budget * Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as excellent written/verbal communication skills * Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance * US Citizenship status is required as this position will need a US Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. * US Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
