The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for conducting briefings and participating in technical meetings for external and internal customers. Fostering effective communication between teams and team members to develop interconnect architectures and be responsible for identification and execution of the program requirements. The Candidate will be capable of working without appreciable direction either individually, in a team environment, or in a supervisory capacity for collaboration with the engineering and program people on staffing requirements and assessment of individuals' performances The candidate would also be responsible designing cables/harness to be used in military applications, with a focus on aviation. Experienced in component design, developing source control documentation and managing suppliers. The candidate will be capable of using Creo Schematic and Creo Parametric, or similar Computer Assisted Design (CAD) systems, to prepare electro/mechanical design layouts, electrical diagrams, detail and assembly drawings and models in accordance with ASME Y14 Standards, and related documentation in conformance to appropriate program and/or military specifications. Experience in the design of wiring products to AS5088-1 and familarity with IPC WHMA-620 manufacturing processes. Ability to manage multiple, unrelated tasks in an organized manner with attention to detail and thoroughness. Travel, though limited, in support of program objectives is an essential part of this position. Required Skills: - Experience with Creo Schematic, Creo Cabling and Creo Parametric - Aviation Experience - Cable/Harness design experience with a focus on AS5088-1 - Knowledge in IPC WHMA-620 manufacturing methods/processes for cable/harnesses - Technical knowledge using documentation specifications such as MIL-STD-31000, ASME Y14.5M, ASME Y14.24 and ASME Y14.100.
