General Manager 3 - Food Location US-MD-Silver Spring System ID 82364 Category Food Service Relocation Type No Employment Status Full-Time Unit Description Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3, Food, for a potential new sale, Springvale Terrace, a 150 resident independent and assisted living facility, located in Silver Spring, Maryland. The General Manager with report to the District Manager and manage a total staff of approximately 15 employees. Is this opportunity right for you? Are you the experienced food service manager we're seeking? We are looking for candidates who will: * have oversight of day-to-day operations (1 main dining room with some catering); * deliver high quality food service; * achieve company and client financial targets and goals (fee account); * develop and maintain client and customer relationships; * develop strategic plans; * create a positive environment; and * ensure Sodexo Standards are met. The ideal candidate: * has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively; * has culinary knowledge along with a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; * has three or more years prior food service management experience, ideally in a healthcare environment; * has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; * can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and * can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
