Paid Media Supervisor Job Summary/Company:
Are you a digital paid media guru? If so Sparks Group is looking for a Paid Media Supervisor to fill a contract to hire opportunity with a global communications firm in Washington, DC. We are looking for a pro-active individual who understands all aspects of integrated communications with an expertise in digital paid media. This person has strong project and client management experience, is extremely organized, and can multi-task several projects and/or campaigns at any given time.

This individual will be responsible for management of media buying and planning either through internal resources or in coordination and collaboration with outside media buying companies. You will plan and direct integrated media plans across digital and traditional media. This individual must have a strong background implementing campaigns that include paid search digital banner ads, rich media banner ads, paid social media, and partner sponsorships. You also have experience optimizing and analyzing campaign performance based on client objectives. Additionally, you must understand all aspects of campaign development including timelines, budgets, and have a basic understanding of creative production.

Paid Media Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and implement integrated media campaigns to include paid search, digital banner ads, rich media banner ads, video ads, paid social media, and partner sponsorships.
  • Foster and monitor all portions of the campaigns to ensure they are running smoothly and meeting client expectations.
  • Lead all paid media optimizations, reporting, and campaign analysis with support from other team members.
  • Help fulfill day to day client requests with support from other team members.
  • Collaborate with account planning and research to develop account strategies.
  • Help manage and mentor junior staff on the paid media team.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce digital and advertising materials.
  • Represent employer during community projects and at public, social and business gatherings.
  • Regularly contribute to new business pipeline and pitches.
Paid Media Supervisor Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 5-7 years relevant work experience in media planning and buying, with a minimum of 3 years agency experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Solid understanding of advertising and marketing principles.
  • Strong background implementing digital media campaigns including search, display, video, and paid social media.
  • Experience with digital media analytics and campaign reporting; Omniture SiteCatalyst is a plus.
  • Understanding of SEO and SEM; Google AdWords Certification preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to juggle conflicting priorities and meet objectives consistently with minimal internal stress.
  • Proven/demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Able to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams including creative and research departments.
  • Ability to anticipate client needs and quickly solve problems.
  • Government experience is a plus.
