Creative AssociateFederation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) Are you a talented and versatile designer who enjoys graphic and video production? FAIR is looking for Creative Associate with a keen eye who is passionate about sound public policy. Are you eager to help FAIR speak up for sensible immigration policies that work for America's best interests? The Creative Associate will create digital and print content that will further our mission and can be used to grow traffic, engagement, and donations. The ideal candidate is an inventive, collaborative self-starter with aa great eye for design and excellent time management. The Creative Associate will report to FAIR's Creative Content Manager. Major Responsibilities: Create still graphics for marketing across FAIR's website, blog and social media platforms.Produce motion graphics for FAIR's advocacy advertising campaigns and cross channel marketingDesign print materials including: infographics, brochures, publications, issue briefs, and promotional itemsProvide graphic support (including invitations, handouts and signage) for FAIR conferences and eventsAssist FAIR's content producer with short character-driven animationsProduce and upload interactive PDF versions of print works for website.Collaborate with and respond to cross-departmental content requests.. Support Advancement team with various tasks as necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in in Visual Communications, Digital Art, or related field2-4 years of related, proven successful work experience, preferably with an advocacy-oriented non-profit organization or a political campaign.Excellent grasp of design, layout and typography.Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects and InDesign.Working knowledge of print production with experience managing vendors a plusMust be creative, detail-oriented, organized and resourceful.. A collaborative spirit and team orientation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work both cooperatively with and independently when appropriate.Familiarity with HTML/CSS and Drupal, WordPress or other CMS a plus.. Interest in making a real difference with your work and comfortable working in a morecontroversial area of public policy.
