Position - Home Automation Sales RepresentativeLocation - Washington DC Metropolitan Area Compensation - Base Salary plus CommissionStatus - Full Time Employment w/Benefits Electronic Home Environments is growing rapidly and looking for an entrepreneurial and motivated individual to fill an immediate opening for a Home Automation Sales Representative specializing in the high-end residential market in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Responsibilities:. Obtain Home Automation products and services client agreements through:o Developing relationships with high-end Builders, Architects and Designerso Networking with other home construction trades and contacts who address the high-end marketo Discovery from time spent in the field prospecting and visiting jobsiteso Discovery through obtaining future project details from published sourceso Responding to company provided information. Achieve assigned quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives. Maintain accurate Sales Pipeline reporting. Participate in weekly Account Review and Sales Team meetings. Follow established Sales Process and Corporate Workflow. Participate in continued product, industry and corporate training Qualified Candidate must have: . Minimum of five years non-retail experience selling to high-end clients in a related field . Knowledge of Crestron, Lutron and other home automation related products and services. General knowledge of residential construction. Knowledge and experience working with vendor partners, channel or distribution organizations. Strong IT/AV product experience and an ability to keep up to date with new technologies and products. Ability to manage time and resources to effectively prospect, qualify, propose and close new business. Ability to discover and address specific client requirements. Strong self-motivating work ethic. Ability to function as a member of a team. Microsoft Office and other business and industry related computer skills. Superb written and verbal communication skills. Reliable transportation and valid drivers' license. Ability to pass a background check including drug screening
