This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Sandy Spring, Maryland area and will be a short-term temporary position. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be required to match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Major responsibilities - Provide customer service to internal business partners - Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed - Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed - Facilitate internal and external audits as needed - Carry out additional tasks as assigned - Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling - Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily - Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department - Conduct full-cycle A/P- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds - Proficient with spreadsheets and databases - Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) - Command of Maintain Vendor Files - Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred If you are interested, email your resume to Matthew.SHopeAccountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
