CHENEGADECISION SCIENCES, LLC CompanyJob Title: CENTAUR Engineer Clearance:TS/SCILocation: Fort Belvoir, VA ReportsTo: Directorof Operations FLSAStatus: Exempt,Full Time, Regular Summary: The CENTAUR Engineer will perform thetasks in coordination with government personnel to provide the cybersecuritysupport services and solutions necessary to analyze, assess, integrate,enhance, improve, modernize, implement, test, sustain, and maintain the DCGS-Acybersecurity posture and capabilities. Duties andResponsibilities: Providetechnical and engineering support regarding the installation of new CENTAURsystems to PACOM and/or other new locations Providetechnical support and observations regarding the accreditation of the CENTAUR-Xsystem Providetechnical support and recommendations to the PM regarding exercises andevaluations using CENTAUR Performon-site initial site surveys for new CENTAUR installations or technicalupgrades Providefindings and recommendations to the PM or DMO regarding concept and operationsfor the new site/upgrades Providetechnical assistance and on-site support to Information Assurance accreditationefforts Supportthe reviews, testing, and redline of the CENTAUR documentation such as, FSEGuides, System Administration manuals, and Load instructions and providefeedback to PM DCGS-A; provide support on documentation updates as well Supporttechnical discussions with the CENTAUR user community regarding changes to thebaseline, rule sets, and ensure recommended changes have been validated withthe PM or DMO Provideonsite technical support during the installation or upgrade of a system as wellas attend meetings to provide technical/engineering support of CENTAUR Providetechnical support during the validation of recommended operational changes tothe overall CENTAUR baseline Providetechnical support/recommendations regarding the CENTAUR reconfiguration orconceptual design reviews for CENTAUR future Interactwith all services to assist with determining the CENTAUR configuration neededto support their mission operations Assistthe vendor and DMO in understanding the specific configuration or rule setdescribed for this effort Providetechnical support and recommendations to the DMO/PM regarding the changes toand use of the Coalition Data Broker Thisincludes the use of this capability by the coalition forces and other outsideorganizations as supported or needed in CENTAUR Providetechnical support on the Coalition Shared Data Server and its use within DCGS-Aand throughout the DCGS community Thisincludes the use/requirement of this capability by the coalition forces and howCENTAUR should be configured to support the changes in this community Otherduties as assigned MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.) Bachelor sDegree and 10 years of Cyber Security experience required Additionalyears of experience may be used in lieu of degree 3years of Cross Domain Solution support Basicanalytical experience ActiveTS/SCI Clearance required Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities: Proficientin computer software programs such as, word processors, spreadsheet programs,and database systems Proficienttyping skills Dataorganization and storage knowledge Physical Demands: (The physical demands describedhere are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will normally work ina temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure toelectronic office equipment. During visits to areas ofoperations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborneparticles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
