We specialize in Program and Project management, Financial Management, Application Development, Operations and Maintenance, Systems Architecture, Engineering and Integration. Our Financial Management portfolio includes Program and Project Management, Financial Management and Modernization, Finance Transformation Services, Finance Delivery Services, Financial Reporting and Performance Management, Business Process Management, Internal Controls and Risk Management across federal, state government, and commercial markets. The candidate must have federal sales in services area experience at least 5 years minimum with a track record or bringing revenue. Preferable experience includes federal agencies. Should have been experience working with other vendors and bringing teams together. There will have a sales target. The position will report to the client site in Leesburg, VA. Candidate MUST have Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration or other relevant field. Advanced degree (eg MBA, MPA, MPP) in relevant field desired but not required. Minimum ten (10) years of experience with business development, portfolio and client management and delivery support Experience with federal financial management and analysis, financial statements preparation, US Treasury financial related systems and OMB Circular A-123 compliance Strong knowledge of accounting and experience with financial statement preparation Familiarity with accounting pronouncements of the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB) and the US Standard General Ledger Skilled as a creative and strategic businesstechnology thinker with the vision to look beyond current organizational value proposition Experience managing PL management Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills Exceptional oral and written communication skills CPA or similar professional certification (eg CISA, CIA, CGFM) preferred Candidate must be eligible to obtain a US security clearance Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements The Public Sector Financial Portfolio Manager is responsible for delivering financial reporting advisory and support services to Public Sector clients. In this role, you are charged with business development, marketing and networking within the financial management area, as well as the responsibility of ensuring engagement profitability by monitoring team chargeability and expenses. Notably, you will be working with a team of dedicated professionals on business development, RFPRFI responses, supporting implementation of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123 Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control requirements. You will have PL responsibility and will be a key team member in the development and growth of our financial advisory and support business which is a priority for our firm. Some of the other responsibilities include Develop a strategic business development plan for the target federal agencies including the creation of detailed account plans to track progress and achievement to goals. Develop new federal business and long-term account opportunities through prospecting Develop sales presentations, conduct seminars and participate in meeting with clients and external vendors Support RFQproposal process as needed related to Financial Management Portfolio Develop and cultivate relationships with cross-functional program team members and works closely with business and operations partners to ensure acceptance, quality, and integrity of program goals and initiatives. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in responding to RFP s, proposal development, coordination and submission Support the delivery team as needed Preferred Skills and Experience Prior experience supporting government agencies. Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and other standard best practices. Understanding of Section 508 and its requirements regarding design. Education andor Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration or other relevant field. Advanced degree (eg MBA, MPA, MPP) in relevant field desired but not required.
