Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Senior Fellow Engineer to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Herndon, VA. Job Title: Senior VMware Engineer Work Location: Herndon, VA Duration: Long-term contract Job Description & Responsibilities : The resource is responsible for developing, implementing, tuning, installing, configuring, and maintaining multiple virtual environments. This position requires strong networking and storage optimization skills as well as in-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012r2. Primary job focus will be on maintaining production, development, test, and operations environments with a strong emphasis on installation, configuration, and maintaining VMware. Skills & Qualifications : Must have DoD Secret clearance. Must possess at least a VCP6 certification. Must have required 8570 certifications, which includes the Security+ and Computing Environment certifications. Experience designing and configuring virtualized environments leveraging VMware. Must have experienced maintaining Windows and UNIX servers in a multisite VMware ESXi environment. Proficient with Group Policy and ACAS Nessus software. Experience STIGing VMware environments, working in ESXi environments and setting up High Availability, vSphere, vCenter, and vMotion. Experience patching and performing root cause analysis.
