Substitute Instructor for Summer in the Arts program, a two-week summer program open to rising 6th graders through rising 12th graders located at Heritage HS in Leesburg, Friday, June 14 through Thursday, June 27, 2019. Workday for instructors is 8:30 AM-2:15 PM (5.75 hours per day) for 10 days. This position would assist with any Instructor coverage that may be needed during the length of the program.
• Coordinate with program director and Fine Arts Supervisor in securing required supplies and materials for the program
• Attend an afterschool training workshop, date TBD
• Plan and implement an engaging, age appropriate sequence of instruction
• Plan and implement a concluding event which highlights student work
• Assist Program Director with duties as required and assigned to ensure student safety

• Must be able to attend for all scheduled days of the Summer in the Arts program

This part-time hourly position reports to the Summer in the Arts Program Director in the Department of Instruction Office of Teaching and Learning.

This is a part-time, non-benefited, hourly position. No guarantee of minimum hours
