Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a moving/relocation organization who is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist to work directly under the HR Director and support daily operations of the HR Department. The ideal candidate will have 5+ year's of relevant generalist experience. Responsibilities: Assists and advises company managers about HR issues, compliance, and the application of HR best practices.Responsible for accurate data entry into employee data base in IMIS, ADP, and eTime.Responsible for accurate, complete and orderly employee files, including I-9?s and medical information files.Prepares annual EE01 Report, VETS-100, and oversees preparation of AAP Pan. Partners with Finance/Payroll and Broker contact in the preparation of all Annual 5500 reports and ensures accuracy and timely filing.Partners with Finance/Payroll and Broker contact in the preparation of Annual 401(k) Reporting and 401(k) Audit.Monitors J1 & H2B Visa?s and Romania H2B Summer Program and handles day-to-day immigration related matters. Coordinate posting of all immigration related notifications Organize and track immigration service and filing costs related to visas applications. Handle travel and employment verification for foreign nationals. Review and lead company compensation strategies, including merit and performance based compensation. Analyze market rates and trends to track and address competitiveness in the market and impact on employee engagement.Establishes grade levels for all employees through the company grade system.Upgrades Pay Matrix annually. Qualifications/Background Profile: Bachelor?s degree seven (7) to nine (9) years of Human Resources experience, OR a Master?s degree in Human Resource Management and three (3) years of experience in the HR field, OR eight years of experience in the HR field, OR any similar combination of education and experience. Certification preferred CEBS,CCP, PHR or SHRM-CP Certification required. 2 + years experience in the administration of immigration programs for H-2B, J-1 visas, track expenses, travel and maintaining compliance records.A minimum of five years of compensation and benefits experience. Compliance and reporting experience with AAP, EEO, VETS, ACA, 5500, etc.Power-user of platforms and systems HRIS, LMS and ATS systems and previous implementation experience; prefer UltiPro and ADP system experience.Working knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, and related state and federal regulations required. Proficient in the use of Social Media, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedInAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, multi-task, and prioritize as needed.Must be accurate and detail oriented.Strong knowledge and understanding of insurance regulations, plan designs and third- party record keeping/administration applicationsMinimum requirement in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint of intermediate to advanced level.
