As the Leasing Manager you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the leasing team as well as developing and implementing a leasing plan to attract new residents and retain existing ones. The ideal candidate must be a team player, have great leadership and sales skills as well as be able to provide exceptional service to the apartment community. Are you the one?Primary duties include but are not limited to: Assisting with hiring, orientation, training and scheduling of all leasing personnel.Facilitates and approves all activities pertaining to leasing, apartment rentals and renewals.Insures all information (notices, renewals, move-ins traffic etc.) is properly entered into MRI.Developing programs to ensure the community meets or exceeds its occupancy goals.Responsible for thorough knowledge of Harbor Group?s leasing techniques and sales methods. Reviews and submits leasing consultant commissions to the property manager in a timely manner.Responsible for thorough knowledge of the property, surrounding areas and competitors.Responsible for inspecting model, office, vacants and scheduling the inspection of all make-readies.Knowledgeable of management company policies and procedures and property community policies.Assisting the Property Manager in designing and implementing a resident retention program.Maintaining a professional attitude at all times to create a positive environment for residents.In addition to leasing management tasks perform all the normal functions of a Leasing Consultant such as demonstrating the apartment, qualifying prospects and preparing lease documentation.Qualifications:Education: Required: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)Experience:Required: Three to Five years in community leasing or property management. Additional Skills: Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office software, strong coaching and training skills, strong lease closing skillsPreferred: Knowledge and experience with MRICertificates, Licenses, Registrations: Required: Valid driver?s license To learn more about our company please visit us at www.hgliving.com EOE.
