The Legal Professional/FOIA Analyst must have 8 to 10 years of experience and be able to obtain a security clearance.Position Description: Processing initial FOIA and Privacy Act requests for Bureau records. Log all review correspondence by subject and question and arrange by priority level based on subject and content of the incoming letter -- proposed priority level will be reviewed by the government. Maintain case files as required for FOIA, Privacy Act. Familiar with government records management and drafting Declarations. Manage caseloads and ensure continuous follow-up on case progress for timely completion of request. Finalize redactions to include consults and send for secondary review.
