Summary: Allied is seeking a professional, dynamic Sales Development Representative who is responsible for driving qualified leads and creating opportunities for the Allied's Sales organization. A major component of this role will focus on activities to drive increased pipeline at the front end of the sales cycle and nurture prospective clients to contribute to the overall future sales pipeline. The successful Sales Development Representative will secure appointments through continuous prospecting. Both inbound and outbound prospecting will be required using various mediums while educating and positioning value for prospective clients. This is an engaging, fast-paced environment, and the position will report to the Director of Sales. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment and has a passion for success while meeting and exceeding goals. Key Areas of Responsibility: Works with the Sales Director to execute on building sales pipeline and refining messaging with an account based approach. Creates and refines target lists with relevant information for prospecting and driving value based messaging and brand awareness to the market. Executes on daily outbound calls, and emails to targeted prospects and inbound leads. Qualifies all sales leads with a criteria-based approach. Utilizes SalesForce.com to document and track activities including validating and updating key contacts and stakeholder's information. Utilizes social media tools and mediums to prospect and drive business to opportunities. Works synergistically in a team environment with other members of the organization. Consistently achieves monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals. Learns best practices of telecom and the cloud based solutions we offer and how to effectively communicate with business executives. Knowledge and Skills: BS/BA and 1-3 years of B2B sales and or sales development experience required (experience selling technology and or technology services preferred) Results driven, competitive natured with a solid work ethic Track record of showing success driving qualified meetings a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the astute ability to listen Outstanding time management skills with ability to multitask Willingness to be very active making outbound prospecting calls Familiar, efficient with and willingness to utilize and document computer related sales tools, such as SalesForce.com SalesForce.com experience preferred Ability to learn and understand new products and technology is crucial Ability to adapt to change, take direction, self-evaluate and self-correct Allied's Commitment Allied has a commitment to its Community, Employees and Employees' families.
