Interact with key client management to gather information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvementsDocument comprehensive understanding of client financial and operational processesUse the audit results and analysis to develop recommendations in accordance with Yellow Book requirements for improving compliance, effectiveness, efficiency, and accountabilityPerform testing of financial statements and accounting reportsPerform internal control reviews and testingResearch accounting issuesCompile and analyze dataQualifications:Degree Desired: BA / BSExperience with mid-tier Independent Public Accounting FirmExperience auditor of Federal Agency as employee of mid-tier IPAKnowledge of Federal Audit practices and standardsBasic knowledge of finance and accounting conceptsMust have prior federal audit experience.U.S. citizenship may be required.
