Summary of Position:The Senior HR Generalist manages many of the day-to-day back-office operations as well as the administration of Human Resources services, policies, procedures and programs. This person carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.The Senior HR Generalist originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and assist in the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.Administers Human Resource's services, policies, procedures and programs. Support and manage functional areas including resource onboarding/off boarding, training & development, employee relations including disciplinary actions, performance and merit cycles, compensation, administration of benefits and insurance policies, employee records, and other tasks as required. Manages through to resolution all incoming inquiries, issues and work requests related to HR Administration and Operations. Oversee staffing and resource deployment logistics. Oversee employment and compliance with various Government mandated regulations and reporting requirements. Liaise with the respective program owners or service providers to ensure HR programs are delivered.Assists and advises senior staff on Human Resources related topics. Assists in the development of Human Resources best practices, policies as well as various initiatives related to the Company's operations. Stays informed on changes and current trends in the area of Human Resources. Collects and analyzes HR data and creates various reports as needed. Research complex issues and provide timely, accurate resolution and actively promote self-serviceExpert in Benefit Administration (Medical, FMLA, COBRA)Desired Skills, Abilities, Experience:Successful candidate should demonstrated the ability to adapt to new situations with poise, wear multiple hats with ease, and be business savvy.A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in the Human Resources field, ideally as a HR Generalist or Manager PositionConsiderable knowledge of employment laws and practicesSignificant experience in the administration of benefits, compensation programs, and other Human Resources programs and initiativesStrong experience with HR systems used for reporting employee data, Microsoft suite of tools, and the ability to pick up new technologies quicklyShould be Data DrivenAble to work independently to research and resolve complex employee questions and HR system issues Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization Excellent organizational skills coupled with strong attention to detailExcellent time management and relationship building skillsMust be tech savvy, intelligent, focused, adaptable, and hard working Must be highly motivated and a self-starter who is able to manage themselves independently.
