ISI Professional Services (ISI) is currently seeking an experienced and analytical Finance Manager with demonstrable operations and finance/accounting experiences to drive our organization's financial operations and improve financial performance in Fairfax, VA. Responsibilities for the Finance Manager will include supervising accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, managing cash flow, setting financial targets, developing financial strategy, monitoring expenditures, overseeing annual insurances, evaluating investments, managing accounting and tax compliance, and advising senior executives in key decision making.Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:Guide financial decisions by establishing, maintaining, monitoring, and enforcing financial policies and procedures.Protect assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls and reporting systems.Develop annual financial plans and projections and interpret complex financial information to recommend effective financial strategies.Manage all financial activities, expenditures, and cash flowConduct weekly and monthly financial assessments and generate reports related to budgets, A/P, A/R, expenses, etc.Forecast cash flow positions related to borrowing needs and available funds for investment.Maintain relationships with banks and federal, state and local tax authorities.Ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation advising management of actions and potential risks.Manage audit and tax functions, contract auditing services and coordinate activities with third-party firms and review firm's performance.Establish budgets in accordance with requirements of various company departments and in consultation with company executives.Required Qualifications:Five (5) years' experience in financial managementExperience in a government contracting environment.Strong knowledge of accounting software programs.Strong mathematic, analytic and strategic thinking skills.Ability to maintain strict levels of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.Flexible, willing to take on more responsibilities as needed, and devote time necessary to achieve deadlines.Must have experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred but not required.At ISI, we recognize and value our employees as our greatest asset.
