Server Administrator Must have: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 installation and configuration experience Server/Desktop patching experience - particularly using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager but other products are acceptable Exceptional oganizational, verbal and written skills 3+ years of demonstrated, hands-on on experience in server administration, including patching and hardening of those servers. Required Certification: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or better Nice to have: Microsoft Windows 2012 Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Veeam or other backup experience III. Job Duties: Routine Microsoft Windows server/desktop maintenance to include: Installation of hardware/virtual and Operating System Operating system patching and hotfixes using system center configuration manager or other patch management application Troubleshooting end user and server errors and issues Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems. Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments. Performing routine audits of systems and software. Performing backups. * Installing and configuring new hardware and software. * Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc. * Answering technical queries and dealing with users. * Responsibility for system security.
