Position Summary The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating and executing multi-channel marketing initiatives designed to increase direct response and to serve as the main contact for sales inquiries. He/ She will qualify and schedule new sales opportunities for the sales team, monitor sales results, and generate sales opportunities through outreach efforts. In short, this person is responsible for gaining new customers, sales leads, and making the phone ring in order to achieve company goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee and take part in the setting of sales leads to ensure high closing percentages by the sales representatives. Track sales results to ensure correct lead distribution resulting in sales. Track sales team's quotes to ensure timely and adequate follow up. Handle incoming customer inquiries as a part of the customer service team. Design, coordinate and execute direct response marketing programs across multiple media outlets to achieve monthly lead goals. Make calls to customer base to promote product offering. Ensure adequate marketing resources are in place to achieve all goals General Responsibilities Performs all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner. Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs. Represents Sila Heating & Air Conditioning in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others. Qualifications Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or other related field 5+ years of related experience 3+ years in a customer service or direct sales position Skills and Abilities Must have the ability to persuade and influence others Must have the ability to negotiate with others Must be able to take initiative Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work in a fast paced environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel Must be able to effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful situations Must have excellent organizational skills Must possess creativity and innovation Must have a strong attention to detail Must have the ability to multi-task Must have strong project management skills REQUIRED COMPETENCIES QUALITY & PRODUCTIVITY: Provides high quality services, processes and programs while consistently seeking ways to improve outcomes and enhance the organization.
