Adjunct, Information Systems and Operations Management
The Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) area of The School of Business at George Mason University, would like to invite you to apply for adjunct faculty positions for Fall 2019, specifically for its Loudon County campus. The campus is located at Signal Hill Plaza in Sterling Virginia. For this announcement, we are specifically interested in candidates who can teach one or more of the following undergraduate core courses: • OM 303 Introduction to Operations Management • MIS303 Introduction to Management Information Systems • BUS310 Business Analytics II A full list of undergraduate courses offered by the ISOM area may be found at http://business.gmu.edu/undergraduate/courses/ under the BUS, MIS and OM prefixes. These courses will be offered typically in the evening from 7:20-10:00PM.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities, in addition to teaching, include preparing course materials, student engagement, and holding regularly scheduled office hours at the Loudon campus.
Required Qualifications: • Successful applicants should have an M.S. in a related discipline or MBA, with relevant work experience. • Ability to teach specifically at the Loudon campus • Good citizenship and the ability to work well with colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications: • Ph.D. in Business or related discipline • Prior teaching experience and or relevant work experience is strongly preferred.
