Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) is one of the largest trade associations in the nation, representing more than 300 heating, water heating, ventilation, air conditioning and commercial refrigeration manufacturers within the global HVACR industry. AHRI’s 300+ member companies account for more than 90 percent of the residential and commercial air conditioning, space heating, water heating, and commercial refrigeration equipment manufactured and sold in North America.

AHRI is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant who is well-versed in general accounting systems and procedures including month-end closings. Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining specific general ledger accounts and monitoring the accuracy of date posted into these accounts.
• Posting journals and adjustments to the general ledger.
• Producing monthly reports, analyzing data, and explaining variances.
• Reconciling revenue and cash accounts and assisting in the preparations of monthly financial statements.

Education: B.S. in Accounting.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years related work experience.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Experience with accounting software systems; Great Plains desired.
