Ref ID: 02000-0010994558Classification: Benefits AdministratorCompensation: $70,000.00 to $100,000.00 per yearRobert Half Accounting Operations is looking for a Benefits and Wellbeing Specialist to join a stable and dynamic organization in Columbia, MD. The Benefits and Wellbeing Specialist will report to the Director of HR and be responsible for managing the benefits and wellness programs for the organization. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: ? Developing, implementing, managing and administering benefits, wellbeing, and employee assistance programs including life, disability, health, and flexible spending. ? Managing open enrollment and updates made to employee benefits to include life changes. ? Answering benefits questions and communicating benefits or wellbeing program changes to employees. ? Maintaining relationships with vendors and Brokerage firms. ? Partnering with benefits consultants to monitor claims, evaluate options, assess cost implications, prepare annual legal filings and contract renewals etc. ? Working with the Benefits Broker to understand and analyze trends. ? Managing employee savings plans including 401(k). ? Handling monthly benefits billing, auditing and compliance. ? Partnering with the Accounting Department and HR Director to determine, track and manage the benefits budget and the annual benefits planning process.Qualifications: ? 8-10+ years of core benefits management experience, including wellness programs and self-insured plans. ? Experience as a Benefits Supervisor/Manager is a plus, but must be OK not managing anyone. ? Experience managing benefits budgets and broker relations. ? Strong technical skills proficiency in HRIS management and Microsoft Office. ? UltiPro experience is a plus. ? Must be responsive, friendly, collaborative, supportive, professional, and possess a positive attitude and team player mentality with the ability to communicate with client groups, field staff, and executives. ? Proven experience in managing the benefits process, creating efficiencies, tracking and providing consistent and accurate documentation and communication.
