Healthcare Customer Service RepresentativeThis position is responsible for answering and resolving all member and outpatient provider inquiries and complaints, providing accurate and timely responses, and triaging calls to other staff as appropriate for resolution.Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): - Answering all inbound calls from a queue and returning calls within 24 hours. - Verifying eligibility in system. - Quoting member benefits or referring to appropriate fund, specific to account. - Researching and providing outpatient referrals based on members' specific needs and location. - Documenting all activities fully and accurately in system. - Triaging calls to other departments as appropriate. - Investigating member and provider inquiries regarding claims, referrals, authorizations, and customer service, and initiating appropriate action to ensure timely resolution. - Other responsibilities as assigned. - Educational Requirements - High school diploma or general educational diploma (GED) required - Experience - Two years of customer service experience required - Experience working in a behavioral health environment preferred - Skills: - Excellent customer service and problem solving skills required - Ability to interpret and clearly communicate benefit and claims information required - Ability to learn new computer systems rapidly and then accurately and completely document all activities and the content of all calls in the system required - Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook required - Bilingual preferredAPPLY NOW!
