CFC has a need for an Accountant II to join our accounting team. In this position you will have the opportunity to complete moderately complex transactional accounting activities relating to the maintenance of complete and accurate ledgers and sub-ledgers and intermediate level accounting work requiring the use of professional conceptsAs an Accountant II, you will:*Reconcile accounts, prepare and post journal entries, maintain complete and accurate ledgers and sub-ledgers and prepare and manage various accounting schedules. *Run cash management interfaces for daily reconciliation of cash control and related items. *Code and process accounts receivable and payable items.*Prepare amortization schedules. *Prepare debt packages, including roll forward and prepayment schedules.*Prepare and record check deposits.*Identify control weaknesses, communicate to management, and implement changes to tighten and enhance controls and mitigate risk.To be successful, you will need:*Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or business - accounting degree is highly preferred. *CPA candidacy is preferred. *2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
