The Project Manager has overall responsibility for commercial, technical, contractual, budget and schedule activities for the Tool Install program. You will own development of client interfaces to promote continuing relations and may have responsibility for management and contract performance across multiple disciplines. You will be responsible for the Scope, Schedule, and Cost for the Tool Install design program. This includes coordinating all actions and scope of the client into an executable design program that meets clients and Jacobs expectations to ensure all deliverables are met with predictability and quality. As a Project Manager, you must maintain change control, proper documentation and communication with the client and Jacobs management. You will lead and demonstrate by example a safety, professionalism, and solution mind set. You will also maintain your own continuous improvement program in the development of the lean approach. You should also be open to learning and understanding the customer's business processes and systems. The Project Manager will support conflict resolution internally and externally and will exercise diligence when escalation is required. You will manage daily activities of the project team, ensuring they are meeting their performance and productivity models. You should understand LEAN philosophy and guide its effective implementation in the design / construction industry. You will demonstrate and teach the team to lead working sessions with all stakeholders to develop design plans that meet the expectations of the client. You will also produce weekly key project indicators and review with the client and in a management friendly format. The minimum qualifications for this position are: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline or 10 years' experience in Construction Project Management or Construction Management 7 years of applicable construction experience Proficiency in presentation and communication to customer, contractor and management audience. Proven working knowledge of construction scheduling Proficiency with Microsoft Windows business applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) Possess good written and verbal communication skills Proven as excellent leader/player with exceptional interpersonal skills Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
