In this Senior Leadership position, you will report directly to the CFO. You also will advise the CFO and Board of Directors on tax positions taken and recommend planning opportunities.From strategy to fulfillment to managed services, our engineering-centric solutions enable our clients to realize what it means for technology to do more.Job Responsibilities:Preparation / Review of financial tax reporting under guideline as established by ASC 740Preparation/Review of consolidated federal and state income tax returns to include apportionment and state modificationsPreparation / Review of estimated tax filingsReview of international tax returnsResponsible for all tax audits to include income, sales tax, property tax and VAT as well as SOX compliance audits. Responsible for preparation and review of all state and local sales tax returnsDevelop, train, motivate and encourage staff and collaborate with all leadership in finance and accountingPrepare, review and/or present periodic presentations to Board of Directors, senior executives and line management at all levels on key tax issue developments with a focus on risk managementManage global transfer pricing study and implementationDevelop tax strategy for all mergers and acquisitionsReview and advise on transactions with potential material tax contingenciesGuide strategies to minimize tax risk and cost of global mobility and entry into new geographic marketsLead process improvement activities cross-functionally to redesign, standardize, and automate tax accounting, reporting processes, including working with third party advisorsProvide technical advice related to income and non-income tax issues as requestedManage overall compliance working with local providers and the finance organizationWorking with the Controller to design and manage global intercompany accountingAbility to travel nationally and internationally, if requiredOversee the technological tools deployed to manage taxEnsure compliance with tax processes and controls for the US federal, international and state income tax returns and tax provision processesMaintain a current awareness and understanding of and to fully comply with the company's code of ethics, independence rules and quality control practicesYour Corporate Responsibilities:Internal Control responsibilities vary by role and are subject to change.
