Candidates MUST have extensive experience supporting a distributed Cisco Unified Communications environment to include MACs, VoIP phone setup and administration of desktop applications (Jabber). Responsibilities: Installation and troubleshooting of networking hardware to include Routers, Switches, Firewalls and Network drops for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems. Assists in coordinating special projects related to LAN/WAN hardware/software improvements and/or enhancements. Required Skills & Required Experience: Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information engineering or other related areas; such education should be at a level which demonstrates the ability to perform responsibilities listed. Responsibilities: Day to day operations and support of a distributed Cisco Unified Communications environment to include MACs, VoIP phone setup and administration of desktop applications (Jabber). Installation and troubleshooting of network hardware including Cisco routers, switches and firewalls. Assist with coordination of special projects related to LAN/WAN and IPT hardware/software improvements and/or enhancements. Maintenance and management of Cisco Prime Infrastructure, to include setup of new sites, syslog/fault monitoring, image/ios backups and change management. Network health monitoring utilizing industry leading technologies. Interfacing with national carrier to resolve outage/support issues. Skills/Experience: Experience with Cisco UCM, Unity Connection, IM&P, CER, Contact Center is required. Bachelors Degree in IT related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2-4 years experience in a distributed network environment. Experience with Netscout and/or Fluke VPM is preferred. Experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms is required. Working knowledge of routing protocols, web filtering, SIP trunking, VoIP and network troubleshooting methodologies. Working knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n wireless networks and be able to resolve connectivity, interference, authentication and coverage issues.Experis is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE/AA)
