We are seeking motivated, career and customer oriented SQL / API Developer interested in joining our team in Reston, VA and exploring an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.Duties:This position will design, develop, implement and maintain the full lifecycle of data functionality and analytic applications across a complex data environment supporting multiple internal and external stakeholders. Position requires work in the areas of data analysis, preparation, and compilation for a wide array of critical business purposes including assembling raw data into structured marts and tables, enabling key business metrics and providing a platform for BI tools to create reporting and dashboards. Develop APIs to expose data using API gateways. Create ETL processes using Apache nifi to achieve data cleansing and enhancement as required. Requirements BA or BS plus 8 years of experience3+ years of experience of ETL Enterprise Data Warehouse ExperienceProven expertise in ETL and ETL tooling such as Apache nifi, Pentaho, Integration Services, Informatica, Data Pipeline, GlueWorking knowledge of Data Technologies in the Cloud such as AWS RDS/Redshift or SnowflakeExperience using Rest APIs, JSON, & XMLGood knowledge of data modeling/Star SchemaStrong ANSI SQL expertise3+ years of experience with Unix and Shell ScriptingExperience with at least one job schedulerStrong Test Driven Development( TDD) experiencePrior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projectsExperience with JIRA and Confluence tools a plus AWS Certified Developer Preferred About Unisys Do you have what it takes to be mission critical?
