Responsibilities Ability to prepare, implement, analyze, and report on environmental assessments, engineering projects, and remedial actions with associated fieldwork Included activities are field-sampling procedures, hydrologic and contaminant mapping, document research, analytical/statistical data interpretation, and technical writing. Assist in the planning, fieldwork and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects, with a focus on Operational Range Assessments (ORA) and Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) projects, along with CERCLA and RCRA-type site assessments and remedial activities, and Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for a variety of government and commercial clients. Requirements BA/BS degree in Geology with a focus on hydrogeology, environmental geology (including geophysical applications), and/or engineering geology is preferred 0-3 years of experience with environmental consulting or government entity performing field-sampling procedures, hydrologic and contaminant mapping, document research, analytical data interpretation, and reporting Knowledge of military munitions, range operations, site assessment methods, and remedial-action technologies/costing is a plus Basic computer skills (eg, Microsoft office suite) required; environmental analytical/numeric modeling and GIS experience a plus Effective written and oral communication skills Willingness to travel out of state for project tasks lasting several weeks or more
