We were #1 in Government, #5 in Office, and #6 in Transportation!Position SummaryThe Interior Design Project Manager is responsible for managing projects for interior environments that enhance organizational performance and achieve the clients business objectives utilizing best practices. Additionally, Individual works closely with the design team to develop innovative interior architectural design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe, and conducive to intended purpose and function, reflect client goals and are within project budget and schedule. General Responsibilities:*Manage assigned projects from concept to close out and maintain effective integrated project execution strategies and plans.*Responsible for deploying resources to ensure that the work process flows smoothly, acting as the primary liaison between the team and the client. *Develop and monitor the project work plan, project schedule, fees, contracts, billings and collections.*Initiate, prepare, review proposals, and participate in interviews in response to RFPs and RFQs.*Implement and maintain effective communication to the project team and all stakeholders to ensure full understanding and commitment to the agreed to deliverables.*Collaborate with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with company standards and client expectations.*Accountable for documenting, developing, and monitoring project scope, schedule, and overall budget.*Track financial performance of projects.*Shape, develop and champion client relationships; existing and new.*Work closely with Design Principals and SMEs across the globe to advocate an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy; promote integrated design approach across firm.*Champion design excellence through quality of deliverables.*Lead or participate in the pursuit of new client relationships and projects, selling the companys ability to produce and manage interior design projects.*Some travel being required, depending on the project.#biaffederal Requirements:*10 years of Federal interior design project management experience, with extensive knowledge of architectural and interiors principles/practices is required.*Experience in the delivery of interior design projects through all planning and programming, design and documentation, construction, and relocation planning and management phases.*Knowledge of furnishings industry and government procurement methods.*Ability to deliver stand-alone multi-discipline interior design projects and manage interior design tasks within a large multi-discipline architectural and engineering team. *Bachelors or higher level degree from an accredited school of Interior Design or Architecture is required.*United States Citizenship is required.*Must have a thorough knowledge of codes, guidelines and standards effecting interior building design and construction.*Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and 3D visualization tools is required. *Experience in the preparation of reports and information using software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.*Must have excellent communication, organizational, presentation and people skills with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks and be results-focused tempered with a team-centered approach.*Must have strong project work plan capabilities with the ability to mentor team members while offering guidance and leadership.*NCIDQ or AIA is preferred.*LEED AP and WELL AP preferred.
