Responsibilities

  • Apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to develop and maintain higher level policy implementation guidance.
  • Recommend and provide updates to policy implementation procedures.
  • Lead and manage development of information management requirements for reports, reporting tools, data normalization, and data export/visibility capabilities from the DLA Energy systems of record.
  • Recommend to DLA-Energy senior management proposed alternatives that would most effectively remedy the problem and accomplish energy program goals.
  • Is the subject matter expert for all DLA Energy contract pricing systems related topics
  • Responsible for the execution of pricing related activities in EBS including but not limited to Price Formula creation and oil and gas quote maintenance
  • Is the subject matter expert for pricing discrepancies on DLA Energy contracts, purchase orders and goods receipts

Qualifications

To qualify for a Logistics Systems Analyst, your qualifications must include:

Specialized Experience: In addition to the basic education requirement, to qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Examples of specialized experience are identified in the Major Duties section of this vacancy announcement and may also include:

-Applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to develop and maintaining higher level policy implementation guidance.
-Developing and coordinating position papers, fact sheets, executive summaries, command letters, and decision briefs.
-Recommending proposed alternatives that would most effectively remedy the problem and accomplish energy program goals.

Physical Demands: The work is sedentary in nature.

Work Environment: The work is performed in an office environment. TDY travel requirement is situation- specific.
