The Safety Officer applicants must have experience as a Safety Office for underground, wet and/or dry utilities. The applicants must be self-motivated, dependable, and have reliable transportation as this position services Maryland, DC, and Virginia Metropolitan area. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, possess a valid US driver's license and be able to take/pass a new hire drug screen. Primary responsibilities for Safety Officer include the ability to read and understand blueprints; ensure the job is equipment with appropriate materials, tools, and equipment daily; and visually check for utilities to ensure properly marked and defined prior to working.
