This Manager will be will be responsible for tracking used vehicle purchases from the auction through the service department, analytics, customer retention, and profitability in the Sales Department (used). Duties: As soon as a car is purchased or traded, the following must occur: * The vehicle will be assigned a stock number * The vehicle will be put in to the DMS * The vehicle will have a packet made. This packet includes all necessary window and key tags, Carfax report, CPO docs (CPO only), auction report, and the MSI (once completed). This Manager will track all purchases to ensure they are getting shipped to us as quickly as possible. You must verify all documents are forwarded to us: title, assignment, odometer statement, and confirm vin # on all documents. As soon as the vehicle arrives, a check sheet must be completed this includes checking for any damage, warning lights; verify tire depth, and overall condition compared to what is listed on the auction's condition report. You will be responsible for contacting the auction for any arbitration issues. You will facilitate the sales to service handoff for inspection. Any ticket over $1,000 needs GSM approval. You are responsible for tracking all of these service tickets. This includes a copy of every RO, and a spreadsheet containing what was fixed along with the cost. You will also track the time it takes the vehicle to get through the shop. We expect all purchase cars to be delivered, through the shop, and detailed in less than 6 days. You will also issue purchase orders for outside work and process all bills (with stock numbers) to accounting department for payment. You will be responsible for tracking any and all costs that come up after the sale. All "We-owes" must be accounted for and completed in a timely fashion. You will be responsible for tracking all wholesaled vehicles who we are wholesaling to, how many units, and any profits/loss from the transaction. You will be invoicing units to wholesalers, and before sending any vehicles to auction, you need to verify that titles are available.
