Job Duties : Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures is responsible for providing support to the Debit Card Services Department on matters related to dispute and fraud processing, ATMs, and card operations systems. Responsible for answering Department Hotline, supporting ATM service issues, and providing other administrative support to the Department and Credit Union staff members. Responsibilities : A. Dispute/ Fraud Processing Responsible for processing daily reports, posting provisional credits and reversals, as indicated by card processor. Posts additional comments on Synapsys to aid front line staff in answering questions from members regarding any open or closed cases. Reviews daily lost/stolen reports from processor. Blocks and reissues accounts within established policies and procedures. Monitors all open unconfirmed fraud cases and contact members to verify suspicious transactions. Tracks and logs confirmed fraud cases to identify Visa/ATM fraud trends. Work closely with vendor to review set fraud rules and make recommendations for changes. ATM's Responds to ATM trouble pages and assists branch staff in responding to ATM troubleshooting. Responsible for placing service calls through ATM maintenance vendor if problems are not resolved by branch staff. Reviews and corrects daily ATM check image files for all enhanced deposit ATMs. Submits balanced image files to Profit Star on a daily basis for submission to the Federal Reserve. Settles ATM systems ensuring accurate GL entries. Assists in clearing all GL accounts. Balance daily deposit GLs, and weekly withdrawal and funding GLs. Prepares monthly reconciliations for ATM withdrawal, deposit and cash GL's. Prepaid Card Settlement & Report Acts as a facilitator for the Visa Gift card system. This includes, but is not limited to, re-setting passwords for branch and department staff. Settles Prepaid systems daily ensuring accurate GL entries. Clears and balances related GL accounts. Prepares monthly reconciliations for Prepaid GL's. Works closely with branch staff to research out-of- balance conditions and post corrections. Researches discrepancies and outages. Hotline and Other Duties: Answers Department Hotline in a timely, friendly and professional manner in support of front line staff to research member complaints or inquiries related to card usage. Performs file maintenance on ATM and Visa Check card system; blocking, adding, deleting and changing accounts as required. Ensures travel flags are placed on card records in the processor system to ensure that there is no service interruptions to cardholders. Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing all customized card orders on a daily basis. Responsible for ordering ATM and instant issue system supplies. Including receipt paper, printing ribbon, cleaning supplies, and card stock. Miscellaneous Make outbound phone calls in relation to debit cards when requested by management. Performs duties and responsibilities in accordance with The Apple Way principles, of Team Up, Inspire Promoters, Challenge Yourself and Own It. Remains cognizant of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Update Policy & Procedures on a regular basis to maintain current documents at all times. Perform other debit and ATM card, ATM or administrative duties as assigned by the Debit Card Services Manager or Assistant Manager. Education & Experience: . High School Diploma . Minimum two years financial institution experience required; card services experience a plus . Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong telephone communication skills for answering hotline. . Must be able to provide positive service in support of Credit Union service culture . PC proficient including MS Word and Excel, and ability to learn financial institution software and systems . Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, ATM. .
