Lead QA Automation Location: Bethesda, MD WealthEngine (WE) is seeking a Lead QA Automation to test and build our marque product by collaborating with an elite group of software engineers. If you have strong QA Automation experience involving expertise on Selenium, Java, Javascript, NO SQL Database testing, API testing, performance, and regression testing with excellent communication skills, then we want to talk with you right away! Here's what you'll do: Lead QA automation, including but not limited to creating and executing test plans, test case development, and providing test status Design, build, and maintain automation testing tools and infrastructure Build and improve pipelines for efficient and reliable testing and deployment Participate in troubleshooting, investigating, debugging, and helping define best practices Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate Lead a geographically dispersed team of Automation Engineers Along the way, you will also: Collaborate and work cross-functionally in building our marque product Participate in company training and professional development opportunities and also in our parties and picnics! What We're Looking for In You Experience leading a geographically dispersed automation team 3+ years' experience designing and writing automated test scripts using Selenium Solid experience writing test scripts using Java, Javascript Strong experience testing varied databases, including both relational databases and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra (preferred), MongoDB, Oracle, or ElasticSearch Working knowledge of Scrum or Kanban process Experience with Jira, confluence, DevOps tolls, and Unit testing Experienced in Performance testing, API testing, and regression testing Previous work experience testing SaaS products that use AWS for hosting preferred Ability to contribute to the DevOps, CI/CD process preferred Enjoy a challenge and thrive on learning and working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented culture with intelligent people Have an exceptional level of integrity, raw intelligence, creativity, energy, and passion Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Perks Medical/Dental/Vision and Flex Spending Account Paid holidays and vacation 401k plan Parking or public transportation travel allowance Lots more!
