The candidate will be responsible for developing processes, procedures, fixtures, and tooling to support the assembly of custom electronic modules and PCBs. #joinourbandResponsibilities will include the following:Developing unique solutions to challenging packaging and assembly problemsEnsuring processes and tools are configured to comply with customer product specifications in a microelectronics assembly operationQualifying new processes and training assembly operators, technicians, and customer engineersDeveloping processes and tools to support prototype quantities and full scale productionResearching and adapting new packaging techniques to solve tough assembly problems* Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate technical discipline, eg, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials or Microelectronic Engineering, Chemistry or Physics and 6 + years of experience* 6 + year of experience with Microelectronic packaging processes and/or Printed Circuit Board (PCB) / Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly processes6 + year of experience in designing and qualifying assembly procedures6 + year of experience in setting up process equipment and qualifying production processes6 + year of experience with microelectronic assembly techniques including mechanical and chemical processesAbility to research and adapt new packaging techniques to solve tough assembly problemsClearance Requirement: Must have a current/active top level security clearance with FS poly.Preferred Additional Skills:* Master's Degree in an appropriate technical discipline, eg, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials or Microelectronic Engineering, Chemistry or PhysicsBase2 is an equal opportunity employer.SDL2017
