The sales director, channel partnerships works with the channel partnership and sales teams to implement and execute the defined Businessolver partnership strategy within their assigned area(s) of responsibility building relationships with partners to drive incremental new revenue for Businessolver. The core function of this role is to identify, engage, and assist the sales team in closing new business opportunities through channel partnerships including health insurance brokers, consultants, and software companies.The Gig:Build, manage, and close a pipeline of new business opportunities through direct relationships with partners to achieve Businessolver assigned goals. Engage partners at all levels and build relationships to promote Businessolver as their "preferred" benefits administration partnerWork with field sales team and partner to identify appropriate solution and provide support to help close partnership opportunitiesTrain channel partners on Businessolver products and servicesTrack partner activity, sales pipeline, and closed business generated via channel partnerships. Create and conduct partner review meetings as necessaryWork with sales leadership to train sales team members about channel partners and best practices to identify new opportunitiesWork collaboratively with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and legal to support channel partner programs What you need to make the cut:Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, channel marketing, and/or alternate distribution channelsPrior experience with a direct, business to business salesforce requiredProven proficiency and understanding of sales processes, sales operations, training and demand generation marketingKnowledge of benefits administration products and services requriedHighly motivated with a proven track record for achieveing resultsExcellent oral, commuinication, and presentation skills required Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to conceptualize and sell ideas internallyInnovation, collaboration, and relationship building skillsMust be a strong team player as well as an individual contributorMust be well organized and capable of managing others to achieve their goalsAbility to travel up to 50%The Businessolver Way Our team has spent nearly two decades crafting a culture that challenges each employee to perform at the top of their game - and have fun doing it!
