Your Role and Responsibilities We are Bluewolf, an IBM company. A Senior Salesforce Developer provides technical expertise and implementation skills for specific technical objectives within a workstream. They demonstrate expertise related to emerging web technologies, web design integration, prototyping, database-driven content, and web-based user interfaces. A Senior Salesforce Developer can learn, analyze, and apply new technologies quickly to implement technical deliverables. They are capable of collaborating on advanced technical consultative services throughout the duration of a delivery engagement. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work individually and with team members to achieve customer satisfaction and success. Design and develop customer solutions in VisualForce, Apex, Lightning, and other Salesforce technologies, as well as web application technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs. Experience working on SOAP / REST API based web service integrations. Develop software solutions using Salesforce.com API framework, and 3rd part APIs. Improve architecture and optimize performance of very complex software systems. Technical code must achieve passing rating during regular reviews. Build integration jobs based on instructions and pre-established guidelines from a Technical Architect using available tools. Facilitate code-sharing and control by regularly submitting code to concurrent version control system. Effectively collaborate with project team and client stakeholders on advanced technical concepts during the duration of a delivery engagement. Manage commitments across multiple projects. Willingness to travel (up to 75%). Achieve and maintain Salesforce.com certification requirements: Platform Developer I and II. Required Professional and Technical Expertise REQUIRED SKILLS: 5+ years of hands-on development utilizing the programmatic framework of the Force.com Platform including Mobile, SSO, API's, web services, and integration to enterprise systems. Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards. Deep expertise and hands-on experience with web application programming leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API's, and associated libraries and frameworks. Excellent understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns (eg Java, Ruby, C#, C++, etc) Excellent understanding of the MVC (Model View Controller) design pattern Utilization of relational databases including MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and/or other RDBMS Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment Knowledge of Agile development practices, particularly scrum and sprint-based delivery Familiarity in Salesforce Sharing Visibility and Access Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise Exposure to Web Services, Soap & REST APIs, and integrations with various third-party tools preferred Experience with Version Control Systems (especially Git-based) preferred Familiarity with Jira and/or other Agile Lifecycle Management tools preferred Familiarity with Salesforce DX a plus Familiarity with AutoRABIT and/or other Continuous Integration tools a plus Familiarity with SharePoint, Tableau and/or other BI solutions, and a broad base of enterprise applications a plus Adaptable to changing requirements, changing schedules About Business Unit IBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
