Senior Principal Computer Systems Architect / Secret Requisition ID : 19014255 Location : United States-Maryland-Annapolis Junction US Citizenship Required for this Position: Yes Relocation Assistance: No relocation assistance available Clearance Type: Secret Shift : 1st Shift Travel : Yes, 10 % of the Time Description Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD with travel required up to 25% of the time. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's new classified program providing a Network Operations Center (NOC), a Security Operations Center (SOC) and encrypted network services to multiple customer sites. Roles and Responsibilities: * Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems. * Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. * Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. * Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. * May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field and 9 years' experience; 7 years' with Masters. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 2. Minimum 5 years architecting and designing solutions in a classified space. 3. Demonstrated ability to define and document application and infrastructure architecture consistent with related Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks. 4. Demonstrated experience with NIST standards and guidelines. 5. Demonstrated experience in Windows environments. 6. Experience with storage area networks and virtual clusters. 7. Experience working with customers in a classified space. 8. Strong understanding of networks (LAN/WAN). 9. US Citizenship is required in order to obtain and maintain required security clearance. 10. Active Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience working with RMF from an IT perspective. 2. Demonstrated experience in Linux environments. 3. Active TS/SCI clearance.
