Description: Oracle National Security Group (NSG) is expanding its identity graph and spatial analytics team to directly support intelligence all-source customers. These analysts will assist the mission customer to address rapidly expanding data exploitation requirements and enable them to meet critical assessment mission needs. Data Analysts supporting this endeavor will be at the leading edge of leveraging tools and methods to advance data analysis, visualization of activity, and methodology creation within specific IC Agencies and issue areas. This work will also create and advance analytical methodology for the broader IC/National Security mission while directly contributing to intelligence assessments. Data and Identity Graph Analysts associated with this program are pivotal members of a larger technical team creating advanced technical, search, and analytics capabilities. Principal responsibilities will we to interface directly with the All-source Analyst, to asset their ability by enabling them with new methods, and to translate and guide their exploitation capability needs for the developers supporting this effort. This is a fast moving, high visibility project that will require individuals who are self-starters, who love a challenge, and who are deep thinkers. It will also require individuals who can communicate clearly, who understand technology, and who have good analytical skills. Individuals filling this role will also be responsible for driving solution requirements and process improvements for creating an extensible framework to audit and provide visibility for all current and future Identity and Spatial product deliveries to support the advancement of intelligence analysis methodology. This responsibility will provide the opportunity to be more involved in product and process improvement practices and will require working with multiple operations, data science, product, and technical teams. Last, this individual will assist with all ad-hoc requests including overseeing the testing, analyzing bias and risk, and determining the adequacy of delivered functionality and solutions to advance intelligence analysis while simplifying data exploitation. Qualifications: BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields or 5-7 Years experience in data analysis Good understanding of computer systems architectures, Oracle data and analytic products, and visualization tools Working knowledge of Oracle Studio, Analyst Notebook, and Tom Sawyer Experience with Graph Analytics and Spatial Analytics capability Direct experience and knowledge of All-source analyst data assessment challenges Demonstrated ability to identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Ability to construct forecasts, approaches, and strategic/tactical plans based on data and issue knowledge and experience in data analyst, statistics, reporting, database expertise and data mining Ability to detect patterns, anomalies, and relationships in datasets Ability formulate mission-relevant questions the datasets need to answer based on intelligence problem being investigated Ability to decompose requirements in terms of data dimensions, metrics, and search parameters Ability to generate, manipulate and exploit multiple query languages Ability to clearly illustrate results and methods Demonstrated attention to detail, capable of spotting patters, methodical, imaginative, awareness of what is worthwhile, interested, curious, and open minded and flexible Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
