WHO WE NEED: We need a multi-talented leader with the ability to develop and oversee the treasury organization from the top down, a strong attention to detail, strong forecasting and modeling skills in treasury and confidence in building relationships and communicating with all levels of the organization. This role reports to VP Accounting and will manage one direct report. Hard work, talent, and the will to succeed count at WillScot. ABOUT THE JOB: The Treasury Director will develop, manage and enforce treasury related policies, procedures and internal controls around cash operations, investment management, foreign exchange exposures, interest rate exposures and debt compliance and as part of that will create and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments across the business such as Procurement, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit and Legal. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Forecasting and Modeling Work with Financial Planning & Analysis team on quarterly budget/forecast assumptions and models to align treasury budget/forecast with FP&A for free cash flow and debt modeling; includes balance sheet and cash flow modeling Create and maintain updated models for corporate capital structure planning activities and debt refinance scenarios Create and maintain current year and multi-year key ratio forecasting and tracking based on various scenarios Oversee the daily cash position and forecasts (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) as well as the variance analysis of forecast versus actuals. Cash Management We are looking to transform our cash disbursements function from its current state. We are looking for a leader with experience in rapid transformation and managing the related change management within the company Evaluate and recommend options related to the procure to pay cycle Develop a project plan for a stepped approach to transformation journey Implement and maintain tools, systems and bank products to enhance cash management functions (product research, RFP issuance, provider selection, implementation) Develop relationships and leverage internal (procurement, IT, accounting) and external (bank group products and services) resources to successfully implement transformation Explore bank offerings and services that can assist with the journey, create rebates and create bandwidth for the internal team (ie AP disbursements process) Prioritize Company initiatives around efficiency and optimization of cash management activities Key stakeholder in current RFP for T&E and P-card RFP Evaluate full intersection with AP/Cash disbursements process Work with other key stakeholders to implement new T&E/P-cards Key stakeholder in selection and implementation of third party T&E/P-card platform, as approved Review and optimization of daily cash and debt reporting, 13 week and current year forecast, weekly reporting to senior leadership Debt Agreement Management, Analysis/Planning and Reporting Have a detailed understanding of multiple, complex debt agreements and how they interact with each other and related cash management and forecasting/modeling activities Together with senior management, evaluate/analyze complex debt agreements, covenants and baskets in light of various corporate capital structure scenarios and other corporate strategic activities Oversee the semi-annual bank audit and appraisal process; have a detailed understanding of/detailed analysis of deliverables provided and the impact on the audit/advance rate Detailed review and presentation of results to senior management, including recommendations for areas of analysis Oversee periodic bank reporting process, including quarterly covenants Acquisition Integration Oversee integration activities for acquired companies Daily reporting, weekly forecasting, administrative access during the interim time period Work with target company on centralized integration cutover planning Collaborate with tax on legal entity restructuring; ensure alignment with bank group for security Management of interest and currency risks, including derivatives Monitor and evaluate interest rate exposures; develop and implement hedging strategy Collaboration with accounting and tax on hedging documentation prior to strategy execution Monitor and evaluate foreign exchange exposures; identify strategies to mitigate exposure to key currencies Review and oversight of repatriation strategy in conjunction with tax and accounting team. Bank Relationship Management Assist with management of the company's bank relationships Coordinate and attend bank discussions related to treasury operations Track and make recommendations on distribution of bank services/products in the bank group Policies and Controls Develop, manage and enforce treasury related policies, procedures and internal controls around cash operations, investment management, foreign exchange exposures, interest rate exposures and debt compliance. General Create and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments such as Procurement, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Internal Audit and Legal. Management of Treasury Senior Manager and others that assist with treasury tasks Other duties, as assigned EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or equivalent field 12 years+ of relevant treasury experience Demonstrated ability to contribute in a fast-paced, acquisitive, growth company Strong analytical skills Effective oral and written communication skills The ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, computer-based accounting, financial and treasury management systems The opportunity to advance your career is ready for the taking at WillScot; if you're READY TO WORK, apply today!
