JOB SUMMARY The Manager supports the development, execution, and monitoring of the Security data mapping program to ensure compliance to Marriott's standard security controls framework and security and privacy policies. The position's responsibilities include assisting in development, implementation, and maintenance of the data mapping tool and supports the data mapping and privacy impact assessment programs. This position also applies knowledge of basic security and privacy principles and regulations. Gathering requirements, compiling metrics, assessing solution readiness, performing research and analysis, and providing program support Preferred: Experience in preparing and analyzing data, including locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating or modeling. Demonstrate the ability to perform validation and testing to confirm the accuracy of the information created. Successful contribution to projects of moderate scope and complexity. Strong knowledge of big data, privacy principles and/or regulation. Current information security and/or privacy certification, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP, CIPPT, CIPPM) Manage data within the online monitoring/mapping tool including data uploading, mapping, dashboards, and reports Manage the data mapping project including tracking milestones, monitoring and resolingopen items, and escalating risks. Assess and maintain an enterprise view of the business, ensuring traceability from organizational strategy to enterprise solutions. Define the data shared across the enterprise and capture the relationships among roles, capabilities, and business units Identify functional data issues, interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies within the organization Weigh the reliability of completing sources of information to resolve discrepancies. Capture metrics that support the organizations IT governance processes Document and track corrective and preventive actions identified in support of policies and procedures. Help in development of remediation efforts as needed. Work with business partners to resolve corrective actions in a timely manner. Produce status reports and metrics on policy and governance aspects to Security, IT, and business leadership. Contribute to formal responses to customer and regulatory requests regarding security services, policies, controls, and mechanisms. Assist with special projects and documentation as needed.
