Job Summary This position will be remote/virtual based Our Global HR team partners with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members. What will I be doing? The Regional HR Director - Luxury leads and implements all initiatives and standards in support of positive team member engagement, leadership effectiveness and culture as a high-performing HR Operations team that contributes to superior business results, performance management and development, recognition, talent management, compliance, team member and labor relations while delivering a best-in-class, internationally recognized workplace environment. The Americas HR Operations team supports Hilton's managed Full Service, Luxury and Focus Service hotels. The Americas Regional Director HR Operations-Luxury Division will develop and deliver training and initiatives that contribute directly to service excellence and standards of service within our luxury hotels in the Americas. You will also serve as a credible consultant and liaison supporting the AVP Luxury Operations, Americas Luxury Regional Team, Luxury General Managers and Americas HR Operations Team. More specifically, you will: * In partnership with the AVP Luxury Division and Luxury Brands Team, develop operational strategies and service standards that ensure the execution of service excellence across all luxury hotels in the Americas. * Serve as the HRBP to the AVP of Luxury Operations. * Timely communicate and update priority issues to the AVP Luxury Operations on key people matters within the luxury hotels such as executive-committee level performance management strengths and opportunities, labor relations or potential risk/liability incidents. * Manage our relationship, participation and certification for our Americas luxury hotels with Forbes Travel Guide, the global authority on luxury travel. * Design, lead and execute a comprehensive onboarding process including coordination of hotel and corporate orientation for each newly hired General Manager or Hotel Manager and commercial Director hires including Directors of Sales, Directors of Marketing, Directors of Revenue and Directors of Public Relations. * For luxury new build hotel openings and/or transitions, design, deliver and certify luxury management taskforce teams including the initial identification of luxury taskforce talent from within the Americas. * Design and deliver luxury training programs such as sequence of service excellence for direct guest contact team members. * Build differentiated recruitment practices that identify the right personality profiles for success in luxury operations and creates a positive experience for all candidates. * Lead Luxury talent management and organizational planning needs for the respective hotels, including planning future talent requirements for pipeline hotels. * Travel with the Americas luxury regional team to actively participate or present on HR related topics in owners' meetings. Travel to participate in regular site visits to lead quality audits, mass hiring events for new hotels and all talent components related to hotel openings. * Conduct Luxury systems and standards quality assurance reviews for luxury hotels. * Assist in university/college recruiting activities as needed. * Support and ensure luxury hotels achieve annual initiatives and goals. * Cascade communications as needed. To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: * Five (5) years as a Complex/Area HRD, Corporate Regional HRD or combination of 5 years' in these roles within the luxury hospitality sector with strong, solutions-based leadership, talent management, organizational planning and luxury service standards design and delivery * 30% travel or more as required It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: * BA/BS Bachelor's Degree * SHRM-SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification What will it be like to work for Hilton?
