Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking multiple Cyber Principal Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Annapolis Junction, MD. Roles and Responsibilities: Work includes system design, development, delivery, and maintenance in a number of mission-critical domains, including analytics development, information sharing, data transformation and dataflow, malware analysis, and knowledge management. Duties of the Principal Engineer include serving as a technical expert in a particular domain or area; responsibility for technical direction for the design or development of software or hardware techniques which are on the cutting edge of technology; providing technical leadership and direction in supporting the application of sound system engineering concepts. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. NGCIMSMD Basic Qualifications: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed. Five (5) years experience in technical roles for Government or Industry customers. Experience as a systems, software, or hardware engineer in programs that encompassed system architecture development; requirements analysis, management and control; multiple activities and multiple vendors; large systems engineering efforts totaling more than $15M/year; and, management and evaluation of business processes and implementation strategies. At least three (3) years of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligence activity. Basic Qualifications for a Cyber Principal Engineer: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed. Five (5) years experience as a principal engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Cyber Principal Engineer: Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed. Nine (9) years experience as a principal engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Education: Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of test engineering experience on projects using similar processes and tools (as below) may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Additional education substitutions: Two (2) years for an Associates; Six (6) years for a Masters; Nine (9) years for a PhD Security Clearance: Must have active TS/SCI w/Poly Clearance.
