Position Summary: The Sr. Director of Financial Systems will be responsible for managing development, configuration, integration and support initiatives for the finance, accounting, and treasury business areas involving the company's PeopleSoft Financials, Hyperion, OneStream, CECL, and Principia applications. The Senior Director of Financial Systems will also be responsible for development, planning and oversight of any new implementation projects - evaluating competing products, seeking vendor proposals, managing vendor relations, and managing the overall implementation while following best practices. This position will manage the teams which work closely with functional areas to gain an understanding of business objectives, propose solutions, and liaison with information technology resources. The position will be responsible for attracting, selecting, developing and retaining the talent to support the team's initiatives. The Senior Director of Financial Ssytems will interact with individuals at all levels of the company including executive management. Key Responsibilities: 40% - Systems Oversight . Manage systems support including but not limited to PeopleSoft, Principia, Hyperion, OneStream, CECL ImageNow, Tango, and LAS . Provide superior customer service to financial system users . Manage regular system fixes and upgrades to system configuration, business processes, and third-party integrations. . Partner with business users to maximize system functionality to reduce process time and improve accuracy. . Ensure all SOX and internal controls and been met and are operating effectively . Ensure policy and procedures exist, are updated, and are well documented 30% - Execution of projects vs plans and delivery commitments . Provide senior leadership and direction to project leaders on multiple concurrent projects. . Provide and oversee financial and staff capacity planning for projects. . Oversee timeline management and deployment management of project planning, challenging team to meet project goals while keeping performance in line with expectations. . Coordinate with key partners in Bank, specifically Information Technology as the two groups required significant integrated efforts to complete tasks. 10% - Owner of Vendor Management Life Cycle . Work with procurement to negotiate new and existing contracts. . Monitor vendor risk in coordination with Vendor Management . Develop and monitor vendor disaster recovery plan and exit strategy 20% - People/Resource Management . Manage staff including hire, terminate, administer disciplinary action, evaluate performance, develop and coach behavior. . Provide supervision of staff to ensure production support and activities are completed in a timely manner, customer service is maintained appropriately, . Provides periodic coaching and mentoring, project appraisal, and annual performance reviews. . Develop and maintain an effective and cohesive work team, providing opportunities for growth and development. . Ensure self- development and growth through continual learning and skill building. . Plan and forecast budget for area. Required Qualifications: Education: . Bachelor's Degree: Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems Experience: . 10 years of large-scale ERP responsibility, ERP project implementation and project life cycle experience. . Must have previous experience managing aspects of financial reporting development. . Must have at least 5 years prior management experience. . Extensive familiarity with technology, processes, and risk mitigation strategies for each business area, and a proven record of success engaging with customers to deliver high value solutions. . A strong discipline in project management and business process mapping is also required. . Must be credible with partner-stakeholders (business, product/program etc.) for strong team and results-oriented delivery. . Excellent oral and written communication skills - demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences including those at the senior leadership levels. . The ability to deliver results . PeopleSoft Financials (GL, AP, PO, AR, Lease, Treasury, Billing) . Experience in SAS based applications preferred .
